\u201c\u0106iro\u201d, as domestic inhabitants called it or ”\u0106irina Pruga”, was a narrow railroad train<\/strong> with steam locomotive that had historic value for the people of Herzegovina. The start of the\u00a0 railroad was in Mostar<\/a> and streched alongside Neretva River<\/strong> up to city of \u010capljina.<\/strong> Furthermore,\u00a0 it turned to\u00a0Popovo Polje<\/strong>, town called Ravno<\/a>, crossed border with Croatia and went all the way to Dubrovnik<\/a>. It was constructed from 1898 to 1901 and had a crucial role in life of people of this area. As can be seen, it is no longer a railroad but it has a different purpose. In fact, it is a cycling track<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\u201c\u0106irina Pruga<\/strong>\u201d, as local people call it, is a special and charming track for sure. First of all the fact that you start in Mostar<\/a> and end up in Dubrovnik<\/a>, two amazing UNESCO<\/strong> cities, is fascinating. We surely don\u2019t even need to talk about Old Bridge<\/a> and other monuments that these two cities can offer you. However this track has a lot more to offer.<\/p>\n
