The most beautiful and breathtaking reserve located southeast of Herzegovina<\/a> that is definitely worth the visit! It is one of the richest wetland reserves in Europe which stretches over an area of about 7,411 ha. Hutovo Blato is a well-known area mainly for its hunting and fishing tourism. It is a place to enjoy all sorts of activities like sport fishing, sports preparations, bird watching and photo safari.<\/p>\n

Can you imagine that every winter over 200 species of birds find their shelter inside this untouched nature? For visitors birdwatching is a MUST! In the migration season, this home of birds fills the lake and its surroundings with tens of thousands of birds. The reserve is on the list of BirdLife International’s Important Bird Areas.<\/p>\n

Even if you don’t feel like doing any activities, it is still a place to take a rest and relax<\/a>.
