It is a small village in the hills, lying on the banks of river Neretva. However, what makes this village special are the beautiful <strong>historic buildings<\/strong> that blended with nature. Moreover, they are built in natural karst along the \u201cgreen\u201d Neretva. This town evolved between the <strong>16th<\/strong> and <strong>18th century<\/strong>. However, what gives Tekke its special charm is a spring of river <strong>Buna <\/strong>flowing<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>next to it. Furthermore, this karst <strong>spring<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the <strong>strongest sources of water<\/strong>\u00a0in Europe. Moreover, it is one of the most beautiful, as well. Its source is in the <strong>cave<\/strong> underneath a 200-meter high <strong>cliff<\/strong>.
