A remarkable journey through time!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is not an ordinary tour you might take. This is a window in time, a lesson<\/strong> in tradition. From it you will find out how people lived in Mostar <\/a>in the olden times. It is formed as a community<\/strong> theater by a group of young local people, to preserve the cultural heritage<\/strong> of our town and save it from oblivion.<\/p>\n

Your hosts<\/strong> are going to welcome you in a truly Ottoman-Bosnian<\/strong> atmosphere so you can feel it in the air. It is basically a private performance<\/strong>, with the whole ensemble doing interactive show full of tiny authentic details from the 16th century for you. You will also enjoy a live performance of traditional dances, sevdah as the traditional Bosnian music<\/strong>. There is also one thing that makes the whole show complete, giving it authenticity and intimacy. The show is taking place in Kajtaz House<\/strong>, the oldest house in the whole of Mostar<\/strong>! The house was built in 1520, and it is UNESCO-protected monument<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That is not all…<\/span><\/h3>\n

If you thought this is where it ends, you were wrong. After the show, everyone will gather at dinner<\/strong>, where you can try traditional<\/strong> Herzegovinian dishes. They are prepared in the households of your hosts<\/strong>. These are not ordinary dishes that are usually served in restaurants<\/strong>. These are authentic, almost forgotten dishes, each made with great love<\/strong> by your hosts’ mothers. You can sweeten your dinner with some homemade dessert and juice afterward. At the dinner, guests are free to talk to the family<\/strong> and to ask them anything about the house or about the time the house was built at. Also, you are free to try and take photos<\/strong> wearing national clothes. You are free to learn a few dancing steps as well, or simply to wander the house<\/strong> on your own.<\/p>\n

Try to imagine<\/strong> if you can, a tiny little bottle of time in which the most fragrant drops of customs and traditions are preserved. In that bottle, besides your memories, are hidden the emotions that only a\u00a0 reminiscent soul<\/strong> remembers, and get are triggered by smells, sounds<\/strong> or tastes. In that little bottle, you can see everything that is in your heart<\/strong>. That little bottle is a spring of inspiration for something we like to call ‘Mostarian night from 1688<\/strong>‘.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
