Located in the center of Livno<\/strong>, a city one and a half hours of driving away from Mostar<\/a>, lies down a delightful sight to see. River spring<\/strong> called Duman<\/strong> is not like most of the springs. Big spring located in the karst hill<\/strong> is an unusual and interesting thing to see.<\/p>\n Duman is a spring of Bistrica River<\/strong>. It is located at the bottom of the hill called Ba\u0161ajkovac<\/strong>. Its name derives from the Turkish<\/strong> word duman<\/em> meaning smoke or fog. In the case of Duman in Livno the etymology refers to the smoke from the droplet of water or the water curtain, which is sometimes visible for high water levels during the winter months. Its beauty is quite similar to the source of the Buna River<\/a> near Mostar.<\/p>\n The refreshment that you can find there, natural ambient and beautiful view were certainly one of the reasons why Duman was and still is one of the favorite places of gathering for all inhabitants of Livno.<\/p>\n
