Tecó Gastropub
Although opened only two years ago, Tecó managed to become one of the favorite urban places in Mostar. One of our favorites too!
Because of it’s location, near university campus, there are lots of students also, so it’s usually busy and energetic. Yet, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. You can sit by yourself, read or do some work, and no one will bother you.
Tecó is the only non-smoking coffee shop/bar in Mostar. It has a very nice and healthy gastronomic offer, from sandwiches, burgers (vegan ones), wraps, soups, pastries (raspberry and apple are our favorites). Very good selection of smoothies, teas, and in the summer, extremely tasteful and refreshing ‘mocktails’. You must try one with elder, ginger and mint.
Tecó has a big outdoor seating area, under the trees, so it’s a great place to chill and enjoy hot summer days in Mostar. Interior is very cozy and very well decorated too, and the staff are very friendly.
Tecó is not a nightlife venue, it’s rather a place for an easy night out. Enjoy a good company and friendly atmosphere, have some drinks and listen to some great music!
It’s bit of a walk from the Old Town, but not that far off, so if you’re in the area you should definitely check it out.
p.s. If you are a sports fan, city stadium Pod Bijelim Brijegom is just across Tecó.
