Public Swimming Pool
Summers in Mostar can get pretty hot. If you haven’t perhaps rented a house with private pool, or went for a swim on Neretva river (which is not recommended if you aren’t experienced swimmer, but it’s also very cold), or one of rivers around Mostar – Buna, Bunica, Trebižat, Drežnica, you can always refresh yourself on the public swimming pool.
It offers one big pool and one small for the kids, court for beach volleyball and beach football. Downside of the pool is lack of natural shade, which you can only find in pool’s restaurant, and under beach umbrellas in pool’s cafe. During nights, on weekends most often, the pool’s cafe is transforming into open air nightclub. The club is one of the most popular nightlife places for young people from Mostar and Herzegovina.
