Duman is a spring of Bistrica River. It is located at the bottom of the hill called Bašajkovac. Its name derives from the Turkish word duman meaning smoke or fog. In the case of Duman in Livno the etymology refers to the smoke from the droplet of water or the water curtain, which is sometimes visible for high water levels during the winter months. Its beauty is quite similar to the source of the Buna River near Mostar.
